
We recently launched a site for a very dear friend, Jeff Lester. Please visit his new site at www.getjefflestertograduation.com to learn about this awesome man, his inspiring outlook and the campaign to get him to his graduation ceremony in Michigan next May.
Jeff was diagnosed in 1993 (at the age of 26) with ALS (Lou Gehrig’s disease) and was basically told by doctors to go home and plan his funeral as he had 3 to 5 years to live.
Well, that’s not the way Jeff Lester works. Seventeen years later, Jeff is a husband, the father of three daughters, and is a full time graduate student now earning his M.B.A. and a MS in Finance degree.
Jeff’s graduation from the University of Michigan-Dearborn is May 2, 2011, but physical and economic challenges will make this impossible without help. (more…)
